With the Queensland state election within hours, 97.3FM QLD Premier Campbell Newman and Opposition Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk went head to head on 973’s Robin, Terry & Bob‘s $1K Minute Quiz this morning.

On Thursday, Opposition Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk played the $1K Minute Quiz on behalf of listener “Paul” and was stumped on the question “the goods and services tax is at what percentage?”  

Today it was Premier Campbell Newman in the hot seat for the $1K Minute Quiz live to air in the studio. 

Passing on questions “Brisbane band The Veronica’s first names are Jess and who?”  and “Annastacia Palaszczuk is the QLD Opposition Leader – Spell Palaszczuk”.  Premier Campbell Newman surprised listeners with his knowledge of 50 Shades of Grey, correctly naming the lead characters.

Both Premier Campbell Newman and Opposition Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk answered 6 questions correct and each won $300 on behalf of their listeners.
