Racing Narrowcaster in Parkes shifts frequency

The ABA has decided to change the frequency of the open narrowcast racing service in Parkes to make way for new channel capacity for an additional high power national radio service to serve the South West Slopes/Eastern Riverina region.

The ABA conducted a detailed engineering assessment and decided, with the agreement of the licensee of the service, 2KY, that the service should move from its current frequency (FM 91.5) to an alternative frequency (FM 99.9), in order to make channel capacity available for the additional national radio service.
