Austereo’s Today Network is launching a new, two hour music show, “Radar New Hits”, linked in with Austereo’s digital station Radar Radio.
The new show airs at 10pm on Sundays nationally across the network with a pure music focus.
Hosted by Byron Cooke, who has a personal passion for music and has worked in radio for the past decade.
While Radar Radio is dedicated to playing undiscovered artists, with a heavy focus on Australian acts, Radar New Hits has been developed to ensure the stations are covering a vast range of what’s hot right now.
Head of Today Network, Dave Cameron says the network is always looking for music propositions that offer listeners another reason to listen.
“The Today Network is all about big hits, big shows and big events. Radar New Hits is an extension of the ‘big hits’ pillar. It’s important to dedicate a full two hour slot to the hottest music being played here and around the world and pay homage to the artists that have created it,” says Cameron.
Tune into Radar New Hits on Sundays from 10pm at the below Today Network stations.
Radar Radio is available online at www.radarradio.com.au and on the DAB+ digital spectrum.
