Radio Adelaide 101.5 FM to vote on board of directors

Next week, the station will vote on its first-ever elected board of directors.

Radio Adelaide made the announcement via social media, saying the vote will ‘complete our transition to independence, governed by our community.’

In November 2017, for the first time in Radio Adelaide’s 45 year history, listeners were invited to become members, after the original licensee, University of Adelaide, controversially cut the station loose from its control.

The station sought nominations from people interested in setting the future direction of the station, open to anyone residing in Radio Adelaide’s licence area of metropolitan Adelaide.

Those with a background and experience in education, finance, law, community radio, media or sales are encouraged to apply.
