Radio Forum: Mumbai June 1

As FM license winners continue rolling out in India, radio stations are in real danger of being lost in the homogenous clutter. A one day forum will address that and other current issues before the growing Indian radio industry. It takes place on 1 June in Mumbai.

International speakers will include the UK’s Nick Piggott and Australia’s Guy Dobson. Indian high profile speakers include: Abraham Thomas, Anil Srivatsa, Apurva Purohit, Nandan Srinath, Raj Gupta,
Rajeev Nambiar and Tarun Katial, amongst many others.

Conference organisers says some of the following questions will be tackled:

How do stations stand out and get attention from listeners and advertisers? If you think getting attention is easy, then why do so many radio stations fail to cut through the noise? How can we build a strong identity? What are the bases we must cover? What lessons can we learn from the international market place?

The India Radio Forum 2007 will give participants “all they need to ensure that great ideas deliver equally great results.”

There will be over 20 speakers from India and across the globe in one day.

The Forum is on at Taj Lands End,
Mumbai on 1st June, 2007.
