Chart Highlights – 14 March 2019
- Highest Gain: Jonas Brothers return with ‘Sucker’ at No.14 with 441 spins
- Local Music: Birds of Tokyo up 186 spins with ‘Good Lord’ at No.17
- New Entry: Lizzo ‘Juice’ enters the chart at No.38 in its 10th week on air
After a six year hiatus, the Jonas Brothers entered the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart last week with ‘Sucker’ at No.14, the trio enjoyed additions from 17 stations across the country, while Nova1069 Brisbane championed the track, accounting for 33 spins.
Aussies Birds of Tokyo flew up the chart gaining 186 spins on track ‘Good Lord’ during its third week on air. With 26 stations backing the track last week, the hit was heard across all music formats while on the CHR front it was Hit92.9 Perth and KIIS1065 Sydney and KIIS101 Melbourne out in front.
Lauv & Troye Sivan teamed up on ‘I’m So Tired…’ entering the chart at No.36, tying with 5SOS as their smash ‘Youngblood’ re-enters the chart.
American singer Lizzo also delivered new music to the chart with ‘Juice’ at No.38.
