Radio wants more than a glimpse of Joji: AirCheck

Japanese-Australian artist Joji has entered the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart one week after ascending to No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. Hit single ‘Glimpse Of Us’ debuts at No. 28 with 285 spins across 19 stations. The Nova network and triple j were notable contributors.

The biggest mover of the week is ‘I Like You (A Happier Song)’ by Post Malone featuring Doja Cat. KIIS Sydney and Melbourne added the song on full rotation, offering up 35 and 34 spins, respectively, helping the song to an overall increase of 201 spins (+66.6%).

Australian artists Budjerah, The Kid Laroi, Amy Shark and Vance Joy are leading the local charge at commercial radio. All four acts currently appear in the Top 10, with six other songs by Aussie artists also making this week’s chart. Overall, nine of the ten songs by Australian artists had gains in spins this week.
