$116,515.25 has been raised by the Regional Western Australian community in this year’s Give Me Five For Kids 2016 charity drive.
The amount raised will go towards Perth’s Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, where it will help families with children receiving treatment at the Hospital be able to have accommodation and not worry about the cost with the Regional Assistance Fund.
Every dollar donated to the Regional Assistance Fund will help make a difference to a sick child and their family.
Head of the Give Me Five For Kids campaign has said: Give Me Five For Kids continues to grow with increased community support. From what started as a humble coin drive in the mid-90s, is now a nationwide annual campaign that has raised close to $20 million dollars for children’s wards and facilities across the country.
