Ratings results survey 3 2025: ABC Melbourne regains ground, 96fm back on top in Perth

The results of radio ratings survey 3 have just been released.

  • New leader Perth, 96FM surges to top spot
  • 3AW down again, 2GB up
  • ABC 774 regains ground in Melbourne
  • BBQ Bob back in Brisbane
  • Nova No 1 in Adelaide breakfast.
  • Drops for CADA but gains for 2Day after new youth formula
  • KIIS slipped fractionally in Melbourne and Sydney, K&J breakfast down again in Melbourne

The survey was conducted by GfK for Commercial Radio Australia between Sun March 9 to Sat April 12 & Sun April 27 to Sat May 31, 2025.

Commercial radio saw a YOY increase of 53,000 listeners, with 12.5 million Australians tuning in weekly, while streaming grew to 3.3 million weekly listeners, up by 55,000 Australians YOY. Commercial radio’s 25-54 demographic, crucial for advertisers, grew by 116,000 listeners year-on-year, reaching 6.2 million weekly listeners.
