Refresh your radio skills this summer for free with the CMTO

The Community Media Training Organisation (CMTO) are offering eight free self-paced radio courses to refresh or learn new skills over the summer.

Course offerings include:

  • Introduction to Media Law for Broadcasters
  • Introduction to Workplace Health and Safety
  • Introduction to Making Great Radio
  • Introduction to Digital Content Creation
  • Introduction to Digital Marketing
  • Introduction to Creating Programs Remotely

And two shorter courses to help broadcasters keep their knowledge up to date:

  • Refresher – Workplace Health and Safety
  • Refresher – Media Law for Broadcasters

To access these courses:

  • Create an account on our online learning portal
  • Navigate back to the course you would like to enrol in
  • Enter the self enrolment key for the course: COMRADFREE
  • Begin the course
  • Complete the course within 90 days of enrolment
  • Download your certificate of completion

Enrolments must be completed by December 31, 2023 to access these courses for free. You can get further information by emailing [email protected].
