ABC Friends’ Excellence in Broadcasting Award

ABC Friends has announced its 2024 Excellence in Broadcasting Award will take place on Saturday 4 May.

The ceremony will feature special guest The Hon. Tony Burke, Federal Minister for the Arts.

The award is an opportunity to honour the the work of an exemplary ABC employee, and this year a new, additional category has been added for a program or series.

It will be held at the Henry Carmichael Theatre, Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts, which is an accessible venue, with tickets $5 members/$10 non-members. Light refreshments will be provided.
