ABC Jazz will be broadcasting on digital and online the final 2hr episode of ‘Relax With Me’ today at 2pm and  repeated tomorrow, Saturday August 31st, at 12pm.

ABC Jazz are remembering legendary ABC personality Arch McKirdy, who passed away during the week at the age of 89.

Arch McKirdy had many roles at the ABC from presenter, to studio supervisor, teacher and mentor of generations of ABC presenters.  But it was Arch’s jazz show ‘Relax With Me’ that he will be most remembered for. It entertained late night audiences for many years until it’s conclusion in 1972, after 2403 programs.
