‘Rhythm on the Rock’ – Jazz presenters/stations wanted

The Norfolk Jet Jazz Festival, known as ‘Rhythm on the Rock’ is looking to make contact with presenters of jazz programs, or stations with jazz formats, so that they can develop interesting and innovative promotional ideas to promote the Festival.

The Festival, which is now in its third year, will be held on Norfolk Island from 4 to 11 December 2004. Last year’s Festival attracted over 500 visitors

The star-studded line up of performers for 2004 will include The Don Burrows Quartet with Catherine Hunter , George Washingmachine, Galapagos Duck, Jazz Factory, Down South Jazz Quartet, Stringmansassy, and Franky and Johnnie.

Holiday jazz packages, which include return air fares from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, seven night’s accommodation, seven days car hire, and The Jazz Pass (tickets to two performances and a souvenir merchandise pack) start at $1,089 ex Brisbane.
