Rita Ora explodes onto the chart with ‘Bang Bang’

Rita Ora took out the title of Biggest Mover this week on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart with ‘Bang Bang’ gaining 239 spins to land at No.18. Following a high-energy set at Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras last weekend, all stations increased spins of the release, with the Edge Sydney making the greatest change from a single spin last week to 24 instances this week.
 
The Hit Network also greatly increased airplay across the board, averaging 3 spins per station last week to 20 this week. i98 Wollongong also jumped on board, and began spinning the track last week adding 7 plays.

After climbing up the chart in previous weeks, Pink and Willow Sage Hart reached a new high point at No.3 with 729 spins. 24 stations across Australia supported the hit, with the Nova network out in front averaging 47 instances per station, accounting for 31% of the week’s airplay. 973 Brisbane almost doubled spins while Mix106.3 Canberra added the track.

Justin Bieber delivered new music to the chart in ‘Hold On’, earning 335 spins at No.24. KIIS in Melbourne and Sydney put the single on high rotation from the get go, adding 32 and 29 instances respectively, followed by the Nova and Hit networks and 973 Brisbane.
