SMPTE members have a rare opportunity to see how world class microphones are produced.

The award-winning Australian Manufacturer, Rode Microphones, will open their factory in Silverwater, Sydney for a members-only tour of the facility on Tuesday, 20th September at 6pm to see how their mics are produced.

Rode make a huge variety of microphones and accessories for the broadcast and professional market distributing both locally and overseas.

Participants will get to meet some of the key people involved in the manufacture and sale of these highly regarded products and the chance to better understand the complexity of sound capture and reproduction devices.
