BBC journalists and broadcasting workers have called a three day strike over plans to cut almost 3800 jobs.
Walkouts will occur on 23 May, 31 May and 1 June, which pose serious problems for radio and TV programs.
“We expect overwhelming support for the strikes and we hope the BBC will return to the negotiating table to discuss these unacceptable job cuts with us.”
Each of the three strikes will be held on weekdays.
