Ross Solly to return to ABC Radio Canberra breakfast, Adam Shirley to take up a newsroom position

Adam Shirley has announced that this morning is his last on ABC Radio Canberra. He will remain in the Territory, with the broadcaster, heading upstairs into a broader news role and vacating the chair for previous host of nine years Ross Solly.

Adam had worked on breakfast, mornings and drive. You can listen to his announcement below:

In GfK Survey 2 of the region this year Shirley very nearly knocked long time No 1 breakfast team from Mix 106.3, Kristen and Nige, off their perch. With Solly moving from Drive an announcement is yet to come for the full 2025 lineup for the broadcaster.
