It was both a heartwarming and heartbreaking call, but the content team at Adelaide’s Fresh 927 has decided upon the Generation Fresh Top 5.
Co-hosting a Breakfast show with Tom and Callum over the next week will be:
Zoe and Mel: The true crime girls and best friends.
Drew: A 21-year-old Sales coordinator and movie fanatic.
Chelsea: A 22-year-old part time stand-up comic.
Abi: The afrobeats lover, music maker and promoter.
Noah: A 19-year-old bartender and KFC addict
The winner will be selected by none other than Emma G from SAFM’s Bel, Bernie and Emma G Breakfast show.
Emma is another member of the successful Fresh alumni who started volunteering at the station before eventually scoring a cap city commercial radio breakfast gig.
Emma spent fifteen years at Fresh, while working as a teacher and also working at Nova.
“Emma G is such a great radio story of incredible persistence and passion getting her to the dream radio job,” says Fresh 927 Content Director Sean Craig Murphy.
“I couldn’t think of a better person to pick the winner of Generation Fresh for 2026. She’s so positive and inspiring and knows what it takes to be successful.”
The winner of Generation Fresh 2026 will be announced at 8am next Wednesday on Fresh 927.
