Don’t you just hate it when you’re all set for the celebrity interview – and then unexpectedly, the celebrity can’t turn up?
 
Just that happened to Rosso and his team on the MIX FM Sydney and Melbourne Drive show last night– when guest Mel B had to cancel.
 
Part of the set up had even included purchasing a chicken salad, specially requested for Mel. It was waiting in the studio fridge.
 
When Mel couldn’t make it, like the good radio people they are, Rosso and his team improvised.
 
Mel B’s chicken salad became the focus of the show and filled the air-time. Rosso auctioned off the salad on air, with all proceeds going to the NSW Bushfire Appeal.
