SBS Radio launches Spanish podcast series Caras Del Amor

 

SBS Radio have launched Caras Del Amor, a four-part Spanish language podcast. 

The series  explores the challenges of falling and staying in love through the intimate stories of Spanish speaking couples living in Australia.
 
Hosted by SBS Radio’s Spanish producer and broadcaster Marcia De Los Santos, the series will be available via the SBS Radio app, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts from Friday.
 
Marcia says “Love is the fuel of life but unlike water or food, it’s a two way process that involves people and intimacy.”
 
The series aims to lead the listener through four love stories of passion, self-discovery, endurance and conflict.
 
Episode 1:
Amor sin Fronteras (Love Without Borders) – What happens when lovers cross-cultural borders?
A Pacific island encounter sees Mexican man Victor fall in love with Australian Erina, in a story which offers a glimpse into how cultural negotiations can transform and enrich romance.
 
Episode 2:
Recién Enamorados (Newly in love) – Is communication or connection the most important element in a relationship? Two young Colombian lovers Evelyn and Jonny from Melbourne are proof that it may be connection. They share details of their special bond, their dreams and the challenges they’ve endured during their brief time together.
 
Episode 3:
Encontrando a Verónica (Finding Verónica) – Facing the truth about her sexuality, Veronica shares the twists and turns of losing and then finding herself again through love with a Spanish woman.
 
Episode 4:
El Amor a Prueba (Love put to the Test) – Mariano and Florencia’s love was put to test. Their story takes us through a journey of unexpected experiences that deepened their love and helped them to triumph over adversity.
