Southern Cross Austereo has recorded its highest-ever Unique Audience (UA) of 1.75M, according to Nielsen’s latest digital ratings.
With a record-high 416,504 Average Daily Unique Browsers (ADUBs) in July, an increase of 7% when compared with last month, SCA is #14 Nielsen-tagged publisher in Australia, and remains at #9 Nielsen-tagged mobile publisher in Australia.
The Hit Network continues to beat its radio rivals as the #1 digital platform for radio brands in the country, a position it’s held since October 2015.
At 2.2 million, SCA’s total Facebook engagement in Australia was well ahead of any radio competitors. Hit and Triple M are #1 and #2 radio networks for domestic Facebook engagement with Hit Network way ahead of the pack with 1.5 million engagement.
SCA’s Head of Digital Content Chris McWilliams said, SCA’s continued growth in Digital Unique Audience is a testament to the entire company’s ability to create original and engaging content for Australians across an array of platforms.
“The Hit Network and Triple M Network positions as #1 and #2 in digital audience is now well established and their digital offerings leave our competitors in the shade. We continue to develop our strategy to entertain Australians all across the country.
“Our regional digital footprint is well established and growing too. We also have several initiatives in place as part of our strategy to grow. For example our partnership with VEVO, which will bring a significant audience and video engagement to our network.”
