Sea FM Morning Crew Paul, Moyra and Tim could have asked the local Politicians vying for election on the Gold Coast the tough questions in the warm and comfortable environment of a radio studio. Instead they chose to ask not so tough questions, but in a really tough situation. They put the pollies to the test by asking election questions while strapped into the Sling Shot at Adrenaline Park in Surfers Paradise, on Friday morning, the day before the election.

Some true colours were unveiled as they were slung up to 80m into the air in a Giant Sling Shot.

The Politicians who were strapped in included:
Labour Candidate: Sam Miscowski; Liberal Candidates: Steven Ciobo and Stuart Robert; The Greens’ 2nd Senate Candidate for Queensland, Anja Light; and Independent Candidate, David Montgomerie.

Moyra Macgregor, one third of the Sea FM Morning Crew, told radioinfo “We think it was a good way of checking out the REAL person and seeing what their personality is like…and that’s important!”
