The Gold Coast glittered last week at the Surfers Pavilion as 100 invited guests officially welcomed Danny Lakey to 90.9 Sea FM’s breakfast lineup.

With his co-hosts Ben Hannant and Bianca Dye beside him, he talked of his radio journey and what he loved most about returning to his much loved Gold Coast, the place of his formative years (yes, he worked at Wet n Wild and at Maccsa Labrador 10 years ago!).

Sea FM daytime announcer Bella Frizza hosted a hilarious onstage session.
