Seany B onto 2Day FM workdays

With the announcement last week that 2Day FM Sydney was going to play more new music and more Australian acts, there have been a couple of additional movements within their weekday lineups.

Firstly, as was mentioned then, Emma Chow has joined Jimmy and Nath proper on breakfast, including in their imaging (see above).

But an additional change is that Seany B (Sean Brown) has taken on workdays, hosting from 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday.

He still hosted The Pulse last night too, Sundays from 6-8pm, and it looks like that will continue. Alongside Nic Kelly and Loren Barry‘s The Hot Hits weeknights across the Hit Network from 7-10pm, The Pulse was also a place where the network featured new and local music.

That’s 32 hours on air a week for Seany B with him saying in his Instagram post:

“We’ve poured our heart and soul into every part of this — right down to the tiniest details: the music, the sound, the language, all of it.

Big things coming.”

Seany B has been with SCA for 6 years.

Taking on workdays means that Michael Christian has either departed or moved to a different role. Michael has been with SCA for nearly two decades.
