Second GfK radio survey for 2024 out this morning

SURVEY RESULT OUT NOW.

GfK Radio 360 Survey 2 is out this morning with Nova Sydney, Perth and particularly Melbourne hoping to consolidate growth now that Jase and Lauren have settled in on breakfast. Other questions to be answered are if B105 will stay on top in Brisbane? Can 3AW‘s Ross and Russ increase their lead on Melbourne breakfast any further? And will Triple M Adelaide bounce back now that the AFL season has commenced?

We shall see.

This will be the first survey for Jase and Lauren at their new Melbourne home on Nova 100 Breakfast. Previous hosts Ben, Liam and Belle had jumped up 1.7 to 6.7 in Survey 1 and I feel for the trio as their new Late Drive show on Nova crosses over Drive and Evenings in GfK surveys and so an accurate representation of how they’re faring in Melbourne can’t really be measured. Jase and Lauren will want to improve on 6.7, before Kyle and Jackie O hit the Melbourne radio audiences on KIIS 101.1 on April 29. Before I leave Melbourne, on 3AW the breakfast pairing of Ross and Russ (Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft) increased 1.5 to a 19.6 share of audience 10+. Might they reach 20 this time?

In Sydney 2GB‘s Ben Fordham returned to No 1 on breakfast with Kyle and Jackie O seeing a 1.3 drop and Nova 96.9‘s Fitzy, Wippa and Kate Ritchie picking up exactly what K&J lost.

Perth‘s 93.7 Nova breakfast team of Nathan, Nat and Shaun will hope to stay on top in WA and. after a 2 point gain overall and 3.4 for Stav, Abby and Matt in breakfast, B105 will want the same in Brisbane. Triple M dropped behind Mix overall in Adelaide but will hope to be top again now the AFL season has started for the sports-centred station.

Radioinfo will have all the Survey 2 spin and results here, from 9:30am.
