SEN set to broadcast Super Bowl LIX

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) will broadcast coverage of Super Bowl LIX as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles, live from New Orleans next Monday 10 February, from 9am AEDT to 3pm. The game kicks off at 10.30am.

Gerard Whateley, Ben Graham and Larry Fitzgerald Sr. headline the call team. Ben was the first Australian to play in a Super Bowl, while Larry, a highly respected voice in American football, will add expert analysis.

Australian offensive lineman Jordan Mailata plays for the Eagles. Should they be victorious he will become the first Australian to win a Super Bowl. The Chiefs are aiming for a third consecutive title.

Gerard Whateley is already in New Orleans, broadcasting from there all this week hosting Whateley live from Radio Row daily at 9am AEDT, giving fans an inside look at the massive build-up to the match. In addition, SEN has been airing the All American Hour daily from 5am to 6am AEDT, with Jordan Kounelis and David ‘The Chief’ Alcaro also live from Radio Row.

Whateley said:

“There’s nothing quite like the Super Bowl. It’s the biggest annual stage in world sport, and to be here covering it live is always a privilege. It’s loaded with drama and storylines and we’ll take our listeners right to the heart of the action.”

SEN’s Head of Sport, Julian Bayard, added:

“Our eighth consecutive Super Bowl broadcast reflects SEN’s commitment to delivering world-class coverage of the world’s biggest sporting events. With a star-studded call team and unrivaled access live from New Orleans, fans across Australia will have everything they need to be a part of the action.”

Separately, V8Sleuth have reported that SEN won’t be continuing their partnership with Supercars in 2025. Matt White and James Moffat covered the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship and Bathurst 500 for the network last year.
