SEN to broadcast Victorian Amateur Football Association news and matches

The Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) has partnered with Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) to broadcast VAFA William Buck Premier Men’s matches every Saturday throughout the home and away season and finals series.

The season commenced this weekends with St Kevin’s hosting Old Xaverians at TH King Oval with St Kevin’s victorious 82-62.

VAFA CEO, Jason Reddick said:

“We are thrilled to be partnering with SEN and have the VAFA Match of the Day broadcast through the SEN platform. SEN is synonymous with football coverage in Victoria and we see a great synergy in partnering with them to feature our William Buck Premier Men’s competition each week and continue the growth of our audience and the VAFA brand.”

Paddy Grindlay will be VAFA Host and lead caller for the Match of the Day broadcast each week on SEN.

“Paddy is a promising up-and-coming young caller and will take on a key multi-dimensional role in VAFA Media, working on our game day coverage, weekly podcasts and social media coverage,” said VAFA’s Broadcast & Content Manager, Jason Bennett.

“Paddy slots in alongside a talented line-up of play-by-play broadcasters and special comments analysts, including familiar voices such as Simon Petch and Josh Heriot. I’m excited to work with our 2024 commentator pool in delivering the live action to the VAFA’s passionate fans every week.
