SEN unveils commentary team for blockbuster summer of cricket

As we count down to the Ashes, Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has announced its commentary team for the 2025-26 Australian summer of cricket, headlined by the arrival of a legendary English voice in Stuart Broad.

One of England’s most decorated fast bowlers, Broad’s name is synonymous with Ashes cricket – not only his native England, but also in Australia.

Joining SEN’s commentary team for the first time, Broad said “I’ve always loved the theatre of the Ashes, and I’m excited to bring that passion to the commentary box with SEN. Australia is a special place to play cricket, and I can’t wait to be part of the summer from the other side of the boundary.”

SEN will broadcast all five Ashes Tests live, starting with the First Test at Perth’s Optus Stadium from November 21. This series promises to be one of the most anticipated in recent memory, as Australia looks to retain the urn on home soil.

Two white ball series against India will also broadcast by SEN.

The Aussies will take on India in a three-match ODI series, also beginning in Perth on October 19, followed by a five-match T20I series, kicking off at Canberra’s Manuka Oval on October 29.

In addition to the international fixtures, SEN will deliver live coverage of every match of the men’s Big Bash League (BBL).

Along with Broad, SEN’s Test commentary team throughout the summer will feature a familiar line-up of cricket experts and broadcasters, including Gerard Whateley, Bharat Sundaresan, Ian Healy, Lisa Sthalekar, Damien Fleming, Simon Katich, Adam Collins and Tom Morris.

SEN CEO Craig Hutchison said “This summer is shaping up to be one of the biggest in cricket history, and we’re proud to bring fans the most comprehensive and entertaining coverage possible.”

“Having Stuart Broad  join our team is incredibly exciting for our listeners – he brings global gravitas and unmatched insight to an already-knowledgeable broadcast team, that our audience has become familiar with over the now 50+ consecutive Australian men’s Test matches SEN has broadcast.”

The summer of cricket action can be heard on the SEN radio network as well as on the SEN app, with SEN Stadium and SEN Sync technology.
