Sennheiser EW-DP, their portable fully digital UHF wireless system that has just been released.

While the system is meant for video production, it is an ideal unit for OB’s with all the advantages of being a digital system. With 134db of dynamic range clipping is just about impossible.

The batteries have around 7 hours on the receiver and 12 hours on the transmitter.

Sennheiser also have a new podcast mic with a USB-C connection. This can have either a desk-mount or boom arm.

Neumann’s BMC 104 and 105 microphones have been designed for broadcast studio applications and have been widely used in Australian radio stations with Nova adding around 100 of these units.

Neumann released their first set of headphones in 2021, and have now upgraded them adding the NDH30, an open back pair.
