Perhaps the most active of all ABC stations lastely, 891 ABC in Adelaide has been getting out and amongst it getting closer to its listeners. From Friday they’ll be out at the Royal Adelaide Show with live broadcasts featuring their regular lineup and guest presenter Natasha Stott-Despoja.
891 ABC Adelaide’s Evening presenter Peter Goers said “It’s the greatest carnival of, by, with and for the people – with animals. It’s SA’s greatest and biggest event. Get there!”
Natasha Stott-Despoja said “I’ve been to nearly every Royal Adelaide Show and I’m particularly excited to host 891 ABC Adelaide Drive program on Friday 9th September as it’s my birthday. My personal picks for families are the pig racing, dog judging and the Old Ram Shed.”
ABC 3’s James and Kayne (pictured) said “Adelaide Threeps we are super excited to be heading your way to check out the awesome Adelaide Royal Show. Make sure you come on down and meet us. You may even bump into us on one of the crazy rides… if you’re brave enough! “
On Saturday from 11am to 1:30pm the public can catch elite sporting stars from the Crows, Port Power, Adelaide United, Redbacks, Thunderbirds, Adelaide 36’ers and Lightning as they say a final good bye to retiring ABC Grandstand veteran presenter, Roger Wills.
