Small Business tunes in to new radio segment

Small business, particularly in regional areas, is the fastest growing industry in the country, and a new radio syndication segment will target small business people with information useful to them.

Television and radio production company Small Screen Entertainment will start syndication of I’m Boss Radio on June 1.

The “information packed sixty-second small business tips” are free of charge for regional stations and contain no advertising or paid content and are contra free. This makes way for regional stations to generate revenue through local sponsorship.

I’m Boss Radio stems from its television counterpart, I’m Boss TV, which is to air on Foxtel Optus and Austar, also from June.

‘I’m Boss Radio’ is hosted by Jake Challenor “a lively and youthful journalist who lives and breathes small business”

Challenor is a small business owner, journalist and presenter and is fast becoming the face of small business media in Australia. He anchors ‘I’m Boss TV,’ provides the ‘Small Business Radio’ audio streams for the Yahoo! Small Business portal and is a regular contributor to business magazines and publications.

Challenor is also the Managing Editor of ImBoss.tv, Australia’s first dedicated online television channel for small business managers and owners.
