Sonnant launches AI-powered monetisation tool

Australian company Sonnant has launched an AI-powered monetisation tool that streamlines content management in audio and video content.

The new suite of tools “solves the most evasive voice and video advertising challenges” using voice to text technology and is part of a wide range of solutions offered by the company.

Sonnant’s voice management platform addresses the complexity of content delivery, monetisation and creation, utilising AI-powered technology. For broadcasters and podcasters, this is a better, quicker, more cost-effective way to provide contextualised advertising-at-scale for new or historical content.

“Content, campaign, and brand safety management is time consuming, complicated and expensive. We’ve delivered accurate solutions to address these challenges. Sonnant’s automatic IAB category identification gives our customers comprehensive content insights that make sales of advertising more targeted, more effective, more often,” says Sonnant CEO Tony Simmons (pictured).

“Also, manual placement, or lack, of ad-markers is a content production issue that directly affects our customer’s revenue. By solving this content challenge with automation, our clients have achieved operational and revenue gains.”

Features and benefits of Sonnant’s AI include.

  • Extraction of IAB categories and all entities such as names, organisations, topics
  • Automatic creation of ad-markers based on advertising requirements
  • Automatic chaptering and headlining content for enhanced discovery and engagement

Sonnant is based in Melbourne with customers in Australia, including SCA, and in the UK and USA. The transcription driven editing functions of the AI engine are shown in the video below. Other examples of the technology can be viewed here.
