98.5 Sonshine Fm’s website recently blitzed its previous records recording over 1.027 million unique users visiting the site in a month. The figure does not include repeat visitors over that time.

General manager Barry Grosser says: “At first we questioned the figures. The result was tested with three different software programs to determine it’s accuracy, each of them confirming the result. Our internet service provider also confirmed that 13 gigabytes of streaming in that month alone was sent out.”

Grosser also points out the success of the newly added Health and Wellbeing area. “Caring for the whole individual is what we do best as a company. In the past month, in an on-air and online capacity, we’ve dealt with taboo topics such as sexual addiction. It’s obvious in this day and age that people need this kind of information… The staggering results certainly cause us to rethink the future. Simply put, it proves the message 98.5 Sonshine Fm presents is in high demand.”
