A glorious and glitzy memorial service has been held at North Adelaide’s Piccadilly Cinema to farewell Leon Byner, who died aged 77 on November 11.

A montage was played featuring Leon’s interviews with stars past and present.

Fellow SA broadcasting legend Jeremy Cordeaux said:

“He was a great help to his listeners. He never let them down, and they never let him down.”
