Fresh from wrapping up his Graduate Diploma in Radio and Podcasting with the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), lifelong Sydneysider Lachlan A’Court is bring his new skills to his beloved harbour city with a variety radio show and podcast Sydney Tonight launching on 2SER tonight!
With a passion for comedy and storytelling, Lachlan and fellow emerging radio and podcasting talent will ask probing questions like, can you outrun the light rail? How is anybody dating in Sydney anymore? And, can you really get to the airport for free? The answers will both entertain and enlighten anyone who calls Sydney home, especially if they have a flight to catch!
Each week offers a mix of interviews, stories, reviews and light entertainment, presented by Lachlan and featuring guests including comedian Nina Oyama, football commentator Robbie Thomson and musicians Cat and Calmell. At a time of endless train trackwork, where the cost of living is so high paying rent feels like a magic trick, Sydney Tonight offers a live and local breath of fresh air and reminder that Sydney stands head and shoulders above any other city in Australia (especially Melbourne).
Whether you’re in Blacktown or Bankstown, Chatswood or Chippendale, Parramatta or Penrith, you can hear Sydney Tonight every Tuesday on 2SER 107.3FM between 7:30 and 8pm, or catch up later wherever you get your podcasts.
