Sport Show for Canberra

Canberra’s 104.7 has launched a locally produced sports show, which will hit the air from Saturday.

Canberra’s only local FM sports show, Balls ‘n’ All, will be heard on Saturday mornings from 8-10, hosted by Cam Sullings – long time local radio personality and sports’ fan.

Sullings says the show will be packed with sports’ news and previews, and plenty of personalities.

“Every week, there will be stacks of special guests, ranging from local to national sport stars. Plus, we’ll cover all of our local codes from the little nippers to our senior teams.

“Canberra has a thriving sports community and, at 104.7, we want to recognise and promote the local sporting scene.

“Thanks to the support of our sponsor, Ellison Finance Services, we will have a fantastic and full on show every Saturday morning, which will cover sports from every angle with lots of entertainment, interviews and laughs.

“Canberra’s 104.7 has a long history of supporting champion teams such as the Brumbies, Raiders and Kangaroos and we’ll be using these relationships to get the insights and expert opinion from the horse’s mouth to the Canberra fans.”

Each week, Balls ‘n’ All will also celebrate up and coming Canberra sports’ stars with the ‘Junior Sports Hero Award’, which will be given each week to a local junior or team. Listeners are able to nominate junior players via the 104.7 Canberra website, www.fm1047.com.au

Balls ‘n’ All will be Canberra’s calling point for all information and news on the local sports scene from grass roots cancellations and postponements to helping local clubs and sports people raise awareness of their teams and fundraising efforts.
