Nova 93.7 FM in Perth has picked up two handy on air recruits for the 2004 AFL season, which kicks off tonight.

But, they didn’t get any further than Northampton, where the Nova scouts stumbled upon two local lads, who have given up the simple life to try their luck in the city.

Fremantle Docker, Paul Hasleby, and West Coast Eagles’ star, Daniel Chick, have been drafted by the Nova 93.7 breakfast team of Nathan, Nat and Craig to roll out the “we’ll take it one week at a time” cliche every Friday.

Hasleby and Chick have played 252 AFL games between them, so they’re expected to have a fair idea of what they’re talking about.
