Star FM’s Ali and Jordan form Bikie Gang

At the end of July, three teenage BMX riders will venture to South Africa to represent The Goulburn Valley and Australia in the BMX World Titles with support from funds raised by Star FM. But before they go, they need to answer one question… can they survive being members of Ali and Jordan’s BMX Bandits?

Local riders Brandon May (16), Levi Collins (25) and Shaun Cuthbert (19) will answer that question from 11am Tuesday July 13 when 969 Star Fm’s BMX Bandits hit the custom made ‘Bandit’ race track in the Shepparton Marketplace.

Ali and Jordan will work alongside some of Australia’s best ‘BMX-ERS,’ racing to 3000 laps to raise money for the boys heading to South Africa at the end of July.

“Think of it as an old school jump rope for heart, you can sponsor a lap or you can put your money where your mouth is and put an amount on the 3000 laps!” Ali has told radioinfo.

Jordan reckons his superior preparation will give him a crucial advantage over his confident co-host when they race each other to raise money for the teenage BMXers.

“Ali may have her bike training from the ‘Try-athlon’ we competed in earlier this year, but I’ve been training exceptionally hard playing my BMX game at home on the Playstation!”

Starting at 11am, the BMX bandits event will be open to all listeners, who can join the Star FM hosts and the teenagers bikers as they go for gold at the Shepparton Marketplace before representing their country in South Africa.

Police are not expecting to have to deregister this Bikie gang as they have done recently in NSW with the Hell’s Angels.
