The third survey of metro markets will be released tomorrow by GfK and all eyes will be on those stations involved in the Macquarie Radio and Fairfax Radio venture.
The spotlight will also be on Southern Cross Austereo who will be looking for some upward movement within their HIT brand, which was down to a 3.3 in Sydney and also shed audience in Melbourne.
Last time around, Brisbane’s hit105.3 took the biggest hit, losing 1.1 in share while the brand remained steady in Adelaide and Perth, albeit on a low base.
In Survey 2 Brisbane, where most of the 4BC lineup was axed this month, the station increased slightly. In Sydney ABC702 had the biggest drop, SEN and 3AW increased in Melbourne. Triple M was down in Adelaide and Mix 94.5 dropped in Perth.
Nova remained steady around the country
While last survey ARN remained number one in Brisbane, in Adelaide MIX102.3 shed listeners but managed to stay ahead of the pack
