Susan Mitchell will not be renewing her contract to present the morning program on ABC 612 Brisbane.

She told The Australian’s Media supplement:

“I landed in a political viper’s nest. There were awful leaks about the salary I was getting… all the usual bitchy stuff. I had $500 stolen from my purse on the first day I was there… it was a bit of an omen really.”

A replacement is expected to be announced soon.
