Talkback radio in danger of dinosaur status

After attending the Legends of Talk lunch on Monday Mark Day from the Australian noticed that many of the same people who saw the beginning of talkback are still working in the medium.

Day believes that the message to talkback is clear, that it is in need of reinvention, and must attempt to seek out a younger audience before it’s too late.

All in all the lunch brought out the competitive and bitchy nature of many of the presenters to the forefront with some concerned they didn’t get a mention or that it was to Laws-centric.
