ON THE TALKING is a satirical new series that pokes fun at Australian talkback radio.
Panel operator and comedian David M. Green is the brains behind the new podcast, that features fake ads, callers, interviews, competitions, news gags, a malfunctioning delay unit and sizzling station imaging.
Hosted by Jeremy Dome and Norman Vine (DMG’s alter ego) with a cast of tedious characters, this 10 episode debut series is available for free on Apple Podcasts, Spotify “and most of the other platforms that nobody uses.”
The team behind ON THE TALKING previously made the TV series GOOD AFTERNOON ADELAIDE, which won two Antenna Awards for Outstanding Sound. So it made sense to make the switch to an audio-only format.
David M. Green has panelled radio for SAFM, Melbourne Talk Radio, Fox FM, Crocmedia and now at SEN.
He also wrote for SHAUN MICALLEF’S MAD AS HELL on ABC TV and hosts the web series VHS REVUE.
Here is the first episode.
