talkSPORT adds international broadcast partners

talkSPORT, the world’s biggest sports radio station, announces today that leading radio broadcasters in fifteen countries have agreed new or renewed partnerships to carry talkSPORT’s live Barclays Premier League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup live match commentary throughout the 2014/15 season.

Ahead of this Sunday’s eagerly anticipated local derby between Manchester City and Manchester United, which UK based fans can also hear exclusively on talkSPORT, Gabz FM in Botswana, Jambo in Kenya and Radio 1 FM in Pakistan are amongst the stations joining talkSPORT’s international network.
Stations in Barbados, Botswana, Egypt, Jamaica, Kenya, Mauritius, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Sudan, Tanzania, UAE, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe will all be broadcasting talkSPORT’s exclusive commentary under new agreements which include the 2014/15 season. The total number of countries where the station has broadcast partners now stands at 25.

With the confirmation of its radio broadcast partners for the 2014/15 season, talkSPORT is estimating over 75 million international listeners for its live Barclays Premier League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup live match commentary. talkSPORT provides live commentary and football programming in multiple languages including English, Spanish, Mandarin, Bahasa Malay, Arabic and  Vietnamese and also streams internationally via, talkSPORT’s mobile apps, TuneIn Radio, China’s and Onefootball.
In August it was announced that talkSPORT had extended its international partnership with the Premier League for an additional three years until 2019, allowing the station to broadcast official live commentary of all 380 Barclays Premier League matches in any language to listeners around the world outside of the UK and Republic of Ireland.
