Wave FM, on the NSW south coast, has just began its first ever Lamington Drive, with the Hot Breakfast aiming to raise $4500 to purchase Wollongong Hospital a Walkaide, which will help over 100 local children in their rehabilitation with learning or relearning to walk.

So far the response from Illawarra businesses has been amazing with orders now placed for well over 20,000 lamingtons, available at $10 per dozen.

To help raise awareness for the Lamo Drive, Travis from the Hot Breakfast, along with local Illawarra Miss Universe entrant Jess Pinkerton were transformed into human lamingtons last night at Stocklands Shellharbour where an additional $800 was raised through coin donations.
