The Fox leads the pack and Kyle & Jackie O lead breakfast: Cumes

Fox FM continues to set records for the most listeners with the latest Cumes from GfK showing the station had 1.360M listeners in Survey 6, up by 35,000.

Gold104.3 is up to 1.313M, with smoothfm 95.3 also gaining slightly to 1.300M, from KIIS 106.5 (1.296M), Nova 100 (1.242M) KIIS 101.1 (1.235M), Nova96.9 (1.224M) and smoothfm 91.5 with 1.153M.

Triple M Melbourne made the biggest gains, up by 134,000 to 886,000, while 2DayFM added another 20,000 for 878,000.

SCA Chief Content Officer Dave Cameron, says,“This fantastic new record has been driven by The Fox Melbourne continuing to be Australia’s most listened to station with 1.36 million weekly audience, alongside new cume records being smashed at Triple M Melbourne with large share increases at both ends of the day for both The Marty Sheargold Show and JB and Billy’s Rush Hour achieving their best ever figures.”

4BC’s audience continues to grow, adding 61,000 for 283,000 overall and Content Manager, Max Dudley, says, “It’s a great day at 4BC as we’ve recorded incredible results across our live and local slate of programming, including our highest ever audience of 283,000 listeners.”

At the other end SENQ debuted with just 28,000 in Brisbane

Kyle & Jackie O remain top of the single market breakfast programs, setting a record for a breakfast show with 738,000 listeners, leading Chrissie Sam & Browny with 610,000 from Fifi Fev & Nick with 605,000.

Bogart Torelli gained 58,000 for 579,000, equal with Jase & Lauren and just behind Christian O’Connell with 587,000.

4BC‘s breakfast team of Laurel, Gary and Mark added another 31,000 as they continue to bring their old 4KQ audience with them.
