triple j’s Hottest 100 is right around the corner and here are some of this year’s stats.
- More than 2.5 million votes were submitted this year!
- 25 artists will be making their Hottest 100 debut
- 8 songs in the countdown were uploaded to triple j Unearthed this year
- There are 102 f-bombs across the countdown, as many as the last two countdowns combined
- Despite being the middle of winter here, August was the Hottest month, with the most amount of entries
- 3 artists will join the 15-Songs-Or-Over Club across all Hottest 100 annual countdowns
On triple j tomorrow from 10am local time they will play all the tracks that landed at 200-101.
Then 12pm AEDT on Saturdayit’s the Hottest 100 songs of the year, and Sunday travel back in time Double J for the Hottest 100 of 2001.
