“The man who has tried and failed is stronger and smarter than the one who never gave it a crack” – 2GB’s Mark Levy resolves restaurant debts

2GB‘s Mark Levy has cleared his debts from his failed Sylvania restaurant Pronto and outlined on air the personal and financial toll of the endeavour.

All up $674119 was repaid with Levy thanking creditors for their patience and his employers, including Tapt Media CEO Tom Malone, for their support.

Levy spoke directly to other small business owners about why it mattered to repay the debts rather than seek bankruptcy, a deeper understanding of the current financial stressors of running any organisation and acknowledged that owning Pronto and then taking over Mornings from Ray Hadley was biting off more than he could chew.

The focus now is on his role with 2GB and being a voice for the community. The full audio is below.
