Tasmania’s community City Park Radio station in Launceston showed another great example of localism, thinking on your feet and keeping listeners informed during NTFA Division 1 Grand Final yesterday.

During the last quarter of the game the power went out at UTAS Stadium. David Mohr from City Park Radio, who was commentating the action, quickly rang the station and continued to keep listeners informed via his mobile.

Old Scotch Thistles ended up winning back to back flags, downing the Lilydale Demons 98-42. For Mohr and his on air team at the stadium and the studio, hoping you enjoyed an old scotch post match too.
