Now that his non-compete clause from Nova has expired, Smallzy has officially joined the KIIS Network for his brand-new national program, The Smallzy Show.
He will be on air from next Monday January 19 in two timeslots, 3-4pm and 7-9pm weekdays, both presented live, according to KIIS.
Kicking off the year with a bang, Smallzy’s debut on KIIS marks a major new chapter for the broadcaster, who is set to bring his trademark energy, insider access and music-first passion to listeners right across the country.
To help deliver a massive start to 2026, Smallzy has assembled his production team, with four key members making the switch with him from Nova to KIIS.
The production team is:
• Kent Small (Smallzy) – Host
• Zach La Cava – Content Lead
• Georgie Nichols – Producer
• Gabe Coggan – Digital Content Producer
• Blake Stanbridge – Promotions Manager (commencing late January)
• Dan Hunt – Sound Design
With an experienced team and a fresh platform, The Smallzy Show is “set to make a major impact across the KIIS Network from day one.”
After graduating from AFTRS, Kent Small started his career aged 19 at Star 104.5 on the NSW Central Coast. He moved to Nova 106.9 Brisbane in 2007 to present its local night show with Michelle Anderson, then hosted the nationally syndicated show Smallzy’s Surgery, airing weeknights from 8pm to 10pm across the Nova network. In August 2025, Smallzy announced he was leaving the Nova network after more than a decade with the show and carefully appeared at the ARN upfronts to announce his new show after his exclusion period had ended.
