The Weight is over for Triple M’s Ali and her Bod Squad

Triple M Gold Coast’s, Ali Plath says she was supportively held accountable for her weight struggles, by breakfast co-host Spida Everitt, earlier this week.

She says, “I do worry about my heart, it’s on my mind. It’s something that I really should take more seriously, and I am now.”

For Ali, who represented Australia in touch footy almost a decade ago, structured exercise drills had become a thing of the past and putting others first has pushed Ali’s health and fitness to the weigh-side, causing her to gain 26 kilos.

Spida says, “It’s not about looks. It’s about healthy bodies and healthy minds.”

Ali has looked to her Triple M family, recruiting five listeners to join Ali’s Bod Squad, a group of women all experiencing a common struggle.

Over four weeks, Ali’s Bod Squad aims to motivate, challenge, and empower, because they have all struggled to find the time, money and motivation to get moving.

The squad will receive talks from nutritionists and personal trainers, share weight loss stories and concerns, and challenge themselves physically, with thanks to The Oasis Health Hub.
